Aliya Usman is a 21 years old girl. Due to ethnic conflict happened in East Wollega Zone, Guto Gida Woreda , She and her families are displaced from their habitual residence area to Sibu sire Woreda. Due to the conflict they have lost all movable and immovable properties.
In Sibu Sire woreda they were living under trees. Aliya has gave a birth of twins in this collective center under trees. She has no shelter, no mattress to sleep, no blankets to wear, no cooking materials, no materials to fetch a water. She and her families has faced a lot of problem in living under trees.
The zonal DRMO has made a request to ANE and UNHCR to support these IDP`s. After Receiving this request ANE in collaboration with UNHCR has given full package( Blanket, Jerry can, Mosquito Net, Plastic Sheet, Sleeping Mat, Laundry Soap, Bucket and Kitchen Set) CRI`s for IDP`s settled in Sibu Sire woreda collective center. Fortunately, Aliya is also one of the beneficiaries of CRI`s.Aliya stated that :
Me and my families were living under trees with out having mattress or sleeping mat, Blankets to wear, no cooking materials, no water fetching material and others. But now thanks to ANE and UNHCR we have made a shelter by using the plastic sheet that was given to us. Currently, we are safe.
